This Mercedes-Benz CLA Can Go 792KM on One Charge – Here’s How!

Mercedes-Benz has once again redefined the compact luxury segment with the launch of the all-new CLA. Designed to be the most efficient and intelligent Mercedes-Benz ever, this next-generation model sets new benchmarks in technology, sustainability, and performance. To match its significance, the brand chose Rome as the backdrop for its grand unveiling—an iconic city known for elegance, heritage, and innovation.

At the heart of this reveal was a star-studded event at the stunning Villa Miani. Overlooking the Eternal City, the exclusive gathering brought together cultural icons and tastemakers, including Romeo Beckham, Camilla Cabello, Lucien Laviscount, Central Cee, Peyton List, Jacob Bertrand, Ice Spice, Will.i.am, and many more. Guests were treated to an immersive experience, culminating in an electrifying performance by South African sensation Tyla.

One of the most exciting aspects of the event was the announcement of the “Class of Creators” initiative. This collaboration brings together influential names like Grammy-nominated rapper Ice Spice, interior designer Gustaf Westman, and fashion visionary Colm Dillane, alongside brands such as Hot Wheels and League of Legends. Each participant will design unique CLA-inspired works that will be revealed at various events throughout the year, showcasing the vehicle as a platform for artistic expression.

Technologically, the new CLA is the first Mercedes-Benz to run on the proprietary AI-powered Mercedes-Benz Operating System. This cutting-edge system integrates artificial intelligence from Microsoft and Google, creating an intuitive and highly personalized user experience. The fully electric CLA introduces an advanced 800-volt architecture, allowing for rapid charging. In just 10 minutes, it can recharge enough for 325 kilometers, while its total range reaches up to 792 kilometers. For those preferring a hybrid option, a 48-volt high-tech electrified model will also be available later this year.

Sustainability plays a significant role in the development of this model. The new CLA reduces its carbon footprint by 40 percent compared to its predecessor, incorporating four times as much recycled material in thermoplastics. The seats, metal holders, and floor coverings all use high amounts of post-consumer recyclates, making it one of the most eco-conscious vehicles in the segment.

Mercedes-Benz has not only elevated performance and efficiency but also redefined modern luxury. The CLA’s illuminated grille, star-shaped daytime running lights, and full-width MBUX Superscreen create an aesthetic that feels futuristic yet sophisticated. This is not just an evolution—it is a revolution.
