Pro Rally Driver destroying DiRT Simulator – Video
If you’ve ever wondered how a real pro would handle the “difficulties” of a very sophisticated video game, here’s your chance to watch Will Orders at work.
Orders has won the Australian Junior Rally Championship back in 2011 and competed in several national and regional events throughout his career. But what about taking on an excellent driving game like DiRT Rally?
The DiRT series has always been a fan favorite with gamers who preferred a more authentic racing experience. It runs on Codemasters’ EGO 3.0 engine, which also stood behind other famous titles such as Grid 2, Grid Autosport, F1 2013 and F1 2014. It’s pretty challenging, especially when you do your best to turn it into a true simulator experience.
However, experienced driving sim gamers might find certain faults during the gameplay. For example, in certain corners the car is allowed to carry too much speed both on entry as well as on exit. The traction also seems to be too good when accelerating out of a corner.
