New Renault Master van line up revealed
The newest Master generation is here to redefine what a professional vehicle can be. Its design isn’t just about good looks; it’s engineered for top-notch efficiency. This efficiency isn’t limited to one type of fuel – the Master adapts to various energy sources without compromising performance. Under the hood, you’ll find a range of options. Diesel engines are more eco-friendly than before, with reduced CO2 emissions. They range from 105 to 170 horsepower. For those looking for an electric drive, options include motors of 96 or 105 kW and batteries that can go up to 87 kWh, offering over 410 km range per charge. Plus, there’s even a hydrogen-powered version. Comfort isn’t overlooked. The new 9-speed gearbox ensures a smooth ride. Safety is also a priority, with 20 advanced driver assistance systems and an innovative braking system that works effectively regardless of how much the van is carrying. This system cuts down braking time significantly, making driving safer and more convenient. For the electric models, there’s more. They support Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) charging. This means they can power devices directly from their batteries, a handy feature for professionals on the go. Inside, it’s like a high-tech office on wheels. The driver’s area doubles as a desk, and there’s plenty of storage space. Standard features include the OpenR Link multimedia system with a 10-inch screen, smartphone compatibility, and remote connection through the My Renault app. Optional extras offer even more, like wireless charging and various connected services. This vehicle isn’t just versatile in terms of power. It offers more than 40 different shapes and limitless customization options. It can handle heavy loads (up to 4 tonnes) and offers large cargo spaces, setting a new standard in its class for loading efficiency. Proudly made in France, all three energy versions and various body types are produced in Batilly, near Metz in eastern France. The wait isn’t long – this next-generation vehicle hits the market in spring 2024.
