New 2025 STI S210: Subaru’s Wildest WRX Yet – Limited to 500!

Subaru fans, this is what we have all been waiting for. The legendary STI badge makes a bold return with the all-new 2025 Subaru WRX STI S210, but here is the catch—it is only available in Japan and limited to just 500 units. If you are wondering what makes this model so special, well, Subaru and its performance division STI packed in some serious upgrades that take this car from fast to ferocious.
Under the hood, it features a 2.4-liter turbocharged boxer engine, now pushing out 296 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque. But here is a twist—this time, the S210 comes with a continuously variable transmission instead of the traditional manual gearbox. That is a bold move, but it is all part of making this a more refined and track-capable machine.
Subaru built the S210 based on the WRX S4 STI Sport R EX, integrating race-proven technologies straight from the Nürburgring 24-Hour endurance challenge. It features new intake components, a pre-turbo duct, and a performance exhaust system with a large-diameter tailpipe. The engine control unit is re-tuned to deliver that extra punch while keeping the car reliable for daily driving.
The suspension is dialed in with specially tuned electronic dampers, updated coil springs, and unique rear stabilizer bushings. Braking gets serious with Brembo 6-piston calipers in front, performance brake pads, and cross-drilled rotors. Sticky Michelin 255/35R19 tires wrap around flexible STI wheels to keep this beast planted in corners.
On the outside, the S210 gets a 20-millimeter wider body with gloss black wheel arch flares, side skirts, a front splitter, a rear diffuser, and a carbon-fiber rear wing. The red accents add just the right amount of attitude. Inside, you get carbon-backed Recaro seats, suede-trimmed panels, Nappa leather with red stitching, and exclusive S210 badging.
Subaru has not confirmed whether this model will reach other markets, so for now, it remains a Japan-exclusive fantasy for enthusiasts around the world.
