New 2025 Nissan Qashqai Facelift Rendered
The Nissan Qashqai 2024 is set to make its big debut on April 17th. Ahead of this event, our friends over at Kolesa have shared some images that give us a sneak peek at what this new SUV might look like.
While details on what’s under the hood remain a mystery, it’s likely that the SUV will continue to sport the E-Power hybrid engine, which is expected to be even more fuel-efficient in its latest iteration.
In a teaser clip, the spotlight was on the Qashqai’s revamped front end. It looks like the SUV will ditch the chrome ‘V’ framing its grille for a new design featuring a horizontal bar at the top. This grille appears bigger and sports a 3D effect.
The headlights seem to follow the pattern of the outgoing model, with an arrow shape pointing towards the grille. However, there’s a twist: the bottom edge tilts slightly while the top stretches out, potentially as far as halfway up the wheel arches.
When it comes to the drivetrain, it’s anticipated that Nissan will stick with its current setup. This includes a 190 horsepower electric motor, which delivers power to the front wheels, and is supported by a 1.5-liter, three-cylinder gas engine. This engine’s job is primarily to charge a 2 kWh battery. This setup allows the gas engine to turn off when the battery is full, only restarting when more charge is needed, without directly driving the wheels.
