Meet the 577HP AMG E53 Hybrid and Bold CLE53 Coupe – World Premiere in Korea!

Mercedes-AMG took center stage at the 2025 Seoul Mobility Show by revealing two performance-focused models that blend cutting-edge hybrid tech with signature AMG driving dynamics. First up is the AMG E53 Hybrid 4MATIC Plus Sedan. This sleek machine features a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine working together with an electric motor. The result? A combined output of 577 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque. But if you activate the “Race Start” function, it temporarily bumps the output to 604 horsepower, giving you that extra kick for a thrilling launch.

This sedan is not just fast; it is seriously quick. It goes from 0 to 60 miles per hour in about 3.7 seconds and tops out at 174 miles per hour. What makes it even more impressive is the 28.6 kilowatt-hour battery pack, which allows you to drive in fully electric mode for an estimated 30 to 40 miles. Thanks to DC fast charging, you can go from 10 percent to 80 percent charge in just 20 minutes.

On the other side of the stage was the all-new Mercedes-AMG CLE53 4MATIC Plus Coupé. Making its Korean debut, this stylish two-door coupe is all about performance and agility. Under the hood, it carries a reworked version of the 3.0-liter turbo inline-six engine, pumping out 443 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque. With the help of an overboost feature, torque temporarily spikes to 443 pound-feet for even more punch.

You also get Mercedes’ 4MATIC Plus all-wheel-drive system and rear-wheel steering, which improves both high-speed stability and tight cornering capability. And let’s talk about its look—flared wheel arches, aggressive bumpers, and the signature AMG vertical-strut grille all scream performance.

For those who want something extra exclusive, Mercedes-AMG introduced a limited Manufaktur Edition of the CLE53. It features a matte Graphite Grey Magno exterior with bold yellow graphics and 20-inch gloss black wheels with yellow accents. Inside, it is wrapped in black Nappa leather with bright yellow contrast stitching that makes it feel like a true collector’s piece.

Both models represent where AMG is headed: full-throttle performance without giving up on efficiency. Mercedes-AMG continues to prove that the future can be fast, fun, and electric.
