Lamborghini Temerario Screams to 10,000 RPM
The Lamborghini Temerario is rewriting the rulebook when it comes to performance and excitement. Pushed to its absolute limit by Squadra Corse Factory Driver Andrea Caldarelli on the Misano Adriatico track, this hybrid super sports car is the only one in production capable of hitting 10,000 revolutions per minute. Yes, you read that right—10,000 revolutions per minute from a car you can buy and drive on public roads.
This beast features a brand-new hybrid powertrain that combines a twin-turbocharged V8 engine, fully developed in Sant’Agata Bolognese, with three electric motors. The result? A jaw-dropping 907 horsepower. It rockets from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 2.7 seconds and maxes out at a top speed of 343 kilometers per hour.
Part of the secret behind those sky-high revolutions per minute lies in race-inspired engineering, like a flat-plane crankshaft for smoother, high-speed firing and titanium connecting rods that cut weight and rotating mass. Even the finger followers are coated in Diamond Like Carbon to ensure they hold up under extreme pressure—all the way to 11,000 revolutions per minute.
Caldarelli described the Temerario as a thrill to drive, thanks not just to its raw power but to its engaging character. As the tachometer climbs, the V8 engine keeps pulling endlessly, delivering a sound and feel that are straight out of a motorsport fantasy.
The car also introduces two features aimed at pure driving enjoyment: Launch Control and Drift Mode. Launch Control is activated via a checkered flag button on the steering wheel and gives drivers the full blast of acceleration from a standstill. Drift Mode, controlled through a separate rotary dial, comes with three levels of intensity—from mild oversteer to full-on sideways action for expert drivers.
This is not just a car—it is a machine built to stir emotions and shatter expectations. It is about pushing limits, hearing the scream of that V8 at full tilt, and feeling completely connected to every inch of the road.
