The Lamborghini Asterion LPI 910 4 was one of those rare concept cars that made people stop and think, “Wait… Lamborghini is making a plug-in hybrid?” Yes, and it was nothing short of groundbreaking when it was revealed back in 2014. This was Lamborghini’s first real attempt at combining raw, naturally aspirated power with cutting-edge electrification.
Under the hood sits a 5.2-liter V10 engine that pushes out 610 horsepower on its own. But that is only part of the story.
