First Koenigsegg Ever Built – Video
Mr. Christian von Koenigsegg started building his first hypercar in the year 1999. His vision was to beat the legendary McLaren F1 at its own game. The young hypercar builders company was established in the year 1994, it took him a few more years to actually make his mega super car. It was the year 2002 when the first production Koenigsegg was delivered to a customer. Take a look at the Koenigsegg CC prototype which was revealed in 1996.
Looking at these older photos it would be hard to imagine at the time Koenigsegg would become a household name in the supercar community. Photos obtained from “Foebane3” via Imgur.

Lads of stolen pictures (only one is credited)! Prashanth Swaminathan for Swedish Spotters, Johan Liljekvist Foss and Tony Klasson to mention a few!! Amateurish publication!
-
Jay Traugott: Bring your self to a standard higher than amateur, the factual errors and contradictions is one thing. But crediting one source when you have stolen pictures form all over the Koenigsegg community without crediting photographers is you not doing your job!

Jey, send us the sources and we will post them or we will remove the content. We try our best to supply sources for the stories.

Have to agree with Jey Cee. I am Prashanth Swaminathan and the rear shot with ‘Swedish Spotters’ logo is mine. Please credit that one to ‘Koenigsegg Registry’ on Facebook since both pages I help maintain and also credit my friend Johan Lijekvist Foss for multiple pictures.
Regards,
Prashanth-
Sure thing, will do this asap.
