Cadillac’s 2016 ATS-V & CTS-V Crystal White Frost Editions

Automakers often misuse the terms ‘Special’ and ‘Limited’, but Cadillac actually means it this time with their new ATS-V and CTS-V Crystal White Frost Editions.

Offered on the 2016 ATS-V Sedan and Coupe, and the CTS-V sedan, the package features a special production run of the firm’s low-gloss (think semi-matte) Crystal White Frost exterior paint, first seen during the world premiere announcements of the V-Series models.

Cadillac says that while the color was “engineered to be as durable as normal paint”, owners will have to follow some special instructions for cleaning, such as performing hand-washes only or refrain from applying waxes and other detailing sprays made for regular paints – you can find out more on Cadillac’s webpage here.

All Crystal White Frost Editions come with extra goodies, including the Carbon Fiber appearance and Luxury equipment packages, which are otherwise offered as an option.

If you want one, you’d probably be wise to hurry as only 99 Crystal White Frost Edition vehicles will be made in total, of which 29 are CTS-V sedans, 39 ATS-V coupes and 31 ATS-V sedans. Pricing, which includes delivery fees, starts from $71,460 for the ATS-V Sedan, $73,660 for the ATS-Coupe and $94,990 for the CTS-V.
