For this project to happen, VW took a sensor from the VW Golf, mainly the adaptive cruise control sensor system that allows the vehicle to keep an exact safe distance to the car in front.

When that vehicle goes faster, the vehicle which has the sensor goes faster, or when the other vehicle brakes, the one behind it brakes as well.
So, you can go for a little jog, and the stroller will follow you at a nice safe distance, but you could also go for a walk without having to worry about your child’s safety as the stroller will automatically stop behind you at a pedestrian crossing.
