One of the standout models is the step-in van, designed to prioritize driver convenience and efficiency. It features front sliding doors and a rear shutter door, making it easier to enter, exit, and load cargo quickly. The spacious cabin allows drivers to stand upright and move freely, reducing strain during daily operations. This design is particularly beneficial for companies that require frequent stops and quick deliveries in dense urban areas. Another addition to the lineup is the cargo van, a versatile vehicle tailored for various delivery needs. Its modular cargo area allows for multiple configurations, making it suitable for businesses that require flexibility in transporting different types of goods. Whether it is standard packages, refrigerated products, or specialized deliveries, the adaptable cargo van offers a solution that can be customized for various industries. Completing the trio is the panel van, which is compact yet highly functional. Standing at just 1.9 meters in height, it is designed to navigate city streets with ease, fitting into underground parking garages and tight delivery zones. Its maneuverability makes it an ideal choice for businesses operating in crowded urban environments where space is limited. All three models are built on a shared electric skateboard platform, integrating advanced software-defined vehicle architecture. This technology allows the vans to be continuously updated via over-the-air software updates, ensuring that fleet operators always have access to the latest performance enhancements. Additionally, real-time data transmission provides logistics companies with critical insights into vehicle health, route optimization, and operational efficiency. Flexis has also focused on battery performance to meet the demands of urban delivery services. The vehicles are equipped with high-capacity batteries that support rapid charging, reaching 80% charge in less than 20 minutes. With a maximum driving range of up to 450 kilometers per charge, these vans offer the reliability and endurance needed for a full day of city-based operations without frequent recharging interruptions. Investment in this project has been significant, with €350 million dedicated to research, development, and industrialization. Flexis is now moving into the pre-production phase, with full-scale manufacturing set to begin in mid-2026 at Renault Group’s Sandouville plant in France. As part of its launch strategy, Flexis has already secured letters of intent from ten major logistics companies across France, the United Kingdom, and Germany. Partners such as Colis Privé, HIVED, and DB Schenker have expressed interest, with potential orders reaching up to 15,000 units within the first three years. Beyond vehicles, Flexis is developing a range of digital services designed to enhance fleet efficiency and sustainability. The company’s platform, FlexE Connect, will offer tools for managing fleet uptime, optimizing operations, and overseeing energy usage. This digital ecosystem is intended to help businesses transition smoothly to electric fleets by providing support for charging infrastructure, financial management, and predictive maintenance. By combining cutting-edge electric vehicle technology with an integrated service platform, Flexis is aiming to revolutionize urban logistics. The company is not just manufacturing electric delivery vans—it is creating a complete ecosystem that supports businesses in reducing emissions, improving efficiency, and adapting to the evolving demands of city-based transport.
