Despite it’s recent update and new turbocharged flat-six engines, the 991 Porsche 911 has been around for nearly seven years, and its replacement is due to arrive in 2019. We’ve already brought you spy shots of the next generation 911 wearing what looks to be a production body, though camouflaged in places. But there’s absolutely no mistaking it’s a 911.

 

How do we know this is the next 911 and not some upcoming version of the existing generation? There are several exterior design changes, specifically the rear end design features a new LED light strip reminiscent of the Mission-E concept and a larger and wider spoiler.
