2016 GMC Sierra introduced with updates – Video

GMC has added a series of changes for the 2016MY Sierra set to go on sale in the fourth quarter of 2015.

Most of the changes can be noticed at the front where LED technology was implemented on the headlights and the brand new C-shaped daytime running lights while the fog lamps also benefit from the same light-emitting diodes.

Each trim level has received a changed front fascia and grilles along with slightly modified bumpers and C-shaped LED taillights while the entertainment system now provides support for Apple CarPlay.

There aren’t any changes for the engines, so the 2016 GMC Sierra will continue with the same V6 4.3-liter producing 285 bhp & 305 lb-ft, followed by the V8 5.3-liter with 355 bhp & 383 lb-ft (518 Nm) and the beefier V8 6.2-liter with 420 bhp & 460 lb-ft.

GMC says the 2016 GMC Sierra will be available in the final quarter of 2015, with more details to be disclosed closer to the model’s launch time.
