AC Schnitzer ACL2 BMW M235i – Video
AC Schnitzer has prepared an impressive tuning project believed to be based on the sporty BMW M235i coupe and we already have a teaser video, official photos, and preliminary technical details to share with you. Dubbed the ACL2, the model has a wide body kit that includes new bumpers with larger air intakes at the front end, side sills, wider wheel arches, and a massive fixed rear wing. Add a distinctive retro green color and a set of two-tone five twin-spoke alloy wheels and you’ve got an eye-catching mix.
But the aerodynamic package is not the most important thing here, as the German tuning shop has also worked on the powerplant. While we don’t know whether the specialists have used the original 3.0 engine or have decided to install the bigger 4.4 V8, we know the unit now produces 570 horsepower (419 kW). The weight to power ratio stands at 2.54 kg/hp, so we are assuming some lightweight materials have also been used in the construction.
