Chevrolet Camaro SS concepts revealed for SEMA
Chevrolet has taken the wraps off two new Camaro concepts for SEMA.
First up, the Camaro SS Red Accent Package concept is based on the Camaro SS Convertible and features a Switchblade Silver Metallic exterior with red grille inserts, red “hash mark” graphics and 20-inch five-spoke alloy wheels with a gloss black finish.
The red theme continues in the cabin as there’s Adrenaline Red leather seats, red aluminum door inserts and red knee pads. The model also has sport pedal covers and SS-branded floor mats.
Besides the styling tweaks, engineers added a performance air intake, Brembo front brakes and a lowered suspension.
The Camaro SS Black Accent Package concept is largely identical but it is based on the Camaro SS coupe and features a Red Hot exterior, a black ground effects package and tinted taillights. The model also has satin black rally stripes, a black fuel filler door and 20-inch alloy wheels with a low gloss black finish. There’s also a Jet Black leather interior with a suede center console lid.
