2016 Mercedes-Maybach S600 Pullman takes to parking spots (1)

The imposing Mercedes-Maybach S600 Pullman has been seen in a parking lot in Germany.

Measuring a whopping 6,499 mm in length, the new Pullman is 1,053 mm longer than the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, so it obviously won’t fit into a regular parking space as demonstrated in the attached video. The new limousine comes with a massive 4,418 mm wheelbase to enable the most comfortable and luxurious interior cabin Daimler has ever made.

Due to its sheer size, this S-Class Pullman test vehicle clearly stands out and as Mercedes-Benz says, it makes a “grand appearance” worthy of its legendary moniker which over the decades has been the choice of many royal families, heads of state, governments and similar other high-end clientele.

Seen here is the S600 version with the large V12 6.0-liter twin-turbo engine pushing out (390 kW) and 830 Nm (612 lb-ft) of torque. Those who actually can afford the car and for some reason want more power should know Brabus came out a while back with an upgrade program for this engine in the regular Mercedes-Maybach S600 boosting output to 900 PS (662 kW) rpm and 1,500 Nm (1,106 lb-ft) thanks to an increase in displacement to 6.3 liters, bigger turbos and other bits and pieces. Most likely they are willing to make the same tweaks to the Pullman limousine as well.
