Mika Häkkinen and His New McLaren P1

Two time Formula 1 world champion Mika Pauli Häkkinen was seen in Monaco with his most recent car buy, a McLaren P1 hypercar.

The 47-year-old Finnish Ex F1 driver is staying with the McLaren brand as Häkkinen just took delivery of a McLaren P1, thus joining a select group of only 375 owners. The dark grey livery, blacked out wheels and orange brake calipers make this P1 look a lot like Jenson Button’s and coincidentally both have been spotted in the metal for the first time in Monaco where Felipe Massa’s LaFerrari was also seen a while back.

The McLaren P1 and Mika Häkkinen are a perfect match made in heaven and hopefully we will see more of the two in the future. Since we are on the subject of Formula 1 drivers and their latest cars, Fernando Alonso is still waiting for his second generation Acura NSX while current world champion Lewis Hamilton recently purchased an ultra luxury Mercedes-Maybach S600.
