Corvette C6 to C7 Headlight Swap

We’ve honestly never come across something like this done before and we’re sure some of the Corvette hard-core fans won’t be happy about this. Still though, creativity and custom work should be credited no matter what. What’s the issue at hand? A member of the Corvette Forum just posted pictures of his Corvette C7 headlight wide body project. Only thing is he doesn’t own a Corvette C7 – he just bought a C6 vette after owning a the older gen C5 Vette. But apparently he really likes the C7’s headlight look over the C6’s. So is a guy to do?

After only eight hours of labor, the owner and a friend managed to swap out the C6 Vett’s headlights for the Corvette C7’s. The work isn’t completely finished, as you can see by these photos, and the final molding and paint work will be finished soon. He posted to have done “some cutting on the ends of the bumper to allow the two amateur fabricators to come down nice and low near the front edges of the bumper cover.” What so you guys think?
