Mercedes-AMG C63 S Coupe revealed more in new video
Still fresh on the heels of yesterday’s leak, Mercedes-AMG has unveiled yet another teaser video with the Mercedes C63 S Coupe.
This time we can see more of the vehicle without any sort of camouflage, as you will see, the car featured in the attached video clip comes with carbon ceramic brakes that are optional on the sedan and wagon versions from where the coupe has borrowed the front end design.
It sits on 19-inch black alloys wheels wrapped up with 255/35 ZR19 tires at the front, unlike the other two which have narrower 245/35 R19 rubbers.
The rear of the car is obviously what sets the coupe apart compared to the sedan version and aside from the different rear taillights which extend onto the tailgate we also notice a new design bumper hosting a modified diffuser flanked by those giant quad exhausts.
There’s also a glossy black spoiler lip which appears to be a little more arched compared to the sedan as a result of the coupe’s smoother looking trunk.
Underneath the hood it’s the exact same twin-turbo V8 4.0-liter with 503 bhp (375 kW) and 516 lb-ft (698 Nm) of torque connected to a 7-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT transmission.
This mechanical setup should enable the Mercedes C63 S Coupe hit 62 mph (100 km/h) from a standstill in around 3.9 seconds so it will be approximately 0.2s quicker than it’s main competitor the BMW M4 Coupe.
Mercedes-Benz will fully reveal the Mercedes C63 tomorrow at midnight.
