2025 GMC Yukon AT4 Ultimate Revealed
GMC has unveiled the 2025 Yukon Denali Ultimate and AT4 Ultimate, showcasing significant technological advancements, a bold exterior, and a refined interior design. For 2025, all GMC Yukon models, including the off-road-focused AT4, are now available with the powerful Duramax diesel 3.0-liter inline-six engine. This upgraded engine now delivers 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque, an improvement from the previous version. Power is sent to either the rear wheels or all four wheels via a 10-speed automatic transmission.
In terms of fuel efficiency, GMC is awaiting certification, but last year’s rear-wheel-drive model achieved 23 miles per gallon combined, while the all-wheel-drive model reached 22 miles per gallon combined. The familiar 355-horsepower 5.3-liter V-8 and 420-horsepower 6.2-liter V-8 engines remain unchanged.
The Yukon lineup has also seen some changes. The SLE and SLT trims have been replaced by the new entry-level Elevation model, while the AT4 Ultimate trim now boasts luxurious features like full-grain leather and Ash Wood interior trim.
Inside, the Yukon now features a redesigned dashboard with a 16.8-inch touchscreen that supports Google built-in software, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Additional upgrades include a 22-speaker Bose sound system, improved safety features, and an array of trailering aids. The 2025 GMC Yukon will arrive at dealerships later this year.
