On the evening of April 15, Maserati launched its exciting new project, “Made in Thunder,” introducing its all-electric venture called Folgore. The event kicked off with an energetic sound performance by the famous Italian musician Dardust, setting a lively tone as the sun went down.

The evening featured presentations by Italian actress Matilda De Angelis and astrophysicist Edwige Pezzulli. They took the audience through Maserati’s 110-year history, aligning their storytelling with the anniversary of Leonardo Da Vinci’s birth, a day that also honors Italian craftsmanship.

A major highlight was the debut of the GranCabrio Folgore, a fully electric convertible made in Modena. This car combines elegance, sportiness, and innovation, making it a standout model in the luxury electric vehicle market. It’s the latest in Maserati’s electric lineup, joining the GranTurismo Folgore and the Grecale Folgore, Maserati’s first electric SUV.

Klaus Busse, Maserati’s Head of Design, discussed the design and technological advancements of the GranCabrio Folgore. Notable features include its unique Liquid Rose Gold paint and a sophisticated interior, reflecting Maserati’s dedication to innovation and luxury.

The event wrapped up with comments from Davide Grasso, Maserati’s CEO, who highlighted the blend of art and science as key to Italian culture and Maserati’s long-lasting legacy.
