2018 Skoda Fabia – Video
The reshaped design makes the car more dynamic. The fascia features remodelled headlamps and a boldly redesigned grille. This is the first time the FABIA has been fitted with highly efficient LED light technology both for the headlights and for the rear light clusters.
Four one-litre engines are available for the rejuvenated ŠKODA FABIA. The MPI engines with indirect fuel injection deliver power of 44 kW (60 PS) or 55 kW (75 PS). There are two top-performing TSI engines, one generating 70 kW (95 PS), the other 81 kW (110 PS). Both of the TSI engines are now fitted with a particulate filter.
The redesigned ŠKODA FABIA also comes with an expanded range of advanced driver-assistance systems. The newly available Blind Spot Detection alerts the driver to the presence of vehicles in the blind spot or approaching quickly from behind on the motorway by lighting up a special icon on the glass of the wing mirrors. Rear Traffic Alert keeps an eye on what is happening behind the vehicle and warns the driver of any collision risk when reversing. Light Assist automatically switches from full to dipped beam as soon as the system detects an oncoming vehicle, making it easier for the driver and road users to drive at night.
