The model is expected to have an evolutionary design but the interior will likely follow in the footsteps of the new Porsche Panamera. This likely means we can expect a new steering wheel, a revised instrument cluster, and a new center console with capacitive-touch controls.

Porsche has been tight-lipped about technical specifications but the 2018 Porsche Cayenne will ride on the same platform that underpins the Q7 and Bentley Bentayga. The platform uses a combination of aluminum and high-strength steel which could enable the Porsche Cayenne to weigh as much as 220 pounds less than its predecessor.
