2016 Porsche 991.2 C4S is one fast machine – Video

 

FAST Autobahn acceleration & Launch Control footage of the recently revealed 2016 / 2017 Porsche 911 “Facelift” (991.2) now featuring a 3.0 Biturbo Flat-Six instead of the previous 3.8 naturally aspirated engine. Engine specs are 420 hp and 500 Nm, through 4WD and a 7-speed PDK (weight: 1.510 kg). Many people have argued that adding a Turbo would kill the pure and nostalgic noise with those modern “Carrera Turbos”, but I think this video proofs that everything is on the bright side! In terms of acceleration figures this new generation is just driving circles around the old one and smashes the 3.8 in pretty much every discipline on the Autobahn.
