2016 Mercedes E-Class spied again next to Maybach – Video

Analyzing the attached spy footage, it’s easy to notice the Maybach version has elongated rear doors and the third side windows sit after the C-pillar. It’s unlikely we are looking at an E-Class L for China because it’s just too big to be a simply stretched E-Class. Keep in mind the outgoing E-Class L sold exclusively in China has the same third side window arrangement as the standard wheelbase E-Class. As a consequence, we are inclined to believe we are indeed dealing with a Maybach-branded model.
