2016 Mercedes-Benz GLS Spy Video

The Mercedes-Benz GLS has been caught on video once again and this time it was being driven at a slow speed so we can see more details of the vehicle.

Mercedes’s biggest SUV is almost ready to receive a minor facelift for its mid-cycle redo which will also come with a name and badge change as Mercedes-Benz will use GLS to better show the SUV’s similarity in size with the Mercedes S-Class.

As seen in the video below and in our previous photos posted, the cosmetic changes will be minor as only the front and rear bumpers will be lightly redesigned and there could be some changes to the  front hood as well.

Expect slightly changed graphics for both headlights and taillights while inside the cabin will probably take some of the parts and pieces from the smaller Mercedes GLE.

A night package will also be optionally offered along with big diameter 22-inch wheels and other minor enhancements to keep the redone fresh and competitive.

A public unveiling is expected to occur next month at the German Frankfurt Motor Show, but Mercedes-Benz could decide to show us the vehicle before the end of August 2015.

Ordering will apparently open in December 2015 and deliveries are planned to begin in mid January 2016.
