1970 Plymouth Hemi Cuda estimated to bring up to $3 million
We’re only a few weeks away from the annual Monterey Car Week. You you know what were talking about, the show at Pebble Beach where there’s a certain auction with vehicles attracting tens of millions of dollars? yes Dustin I were talking about. But it’s not only vintage classic exotics and other supercars old and new that attract some of the richest collectors out there. Take for example this 1970 Plymouth Hemi Cuda Convertible. It’s one of just 14 cars produced, and one of only nine equipped with the rare automatic transmission.
Powered by that iconic 426 Hemi V8, it was styled by John Herlitz, who was only 27 years old at the time. Because Chrysler was so pleased with his finished card design, Herlitz was rewarded with one. This particular one, actually. Mecum Auctions is offering the muscle car and it’s estimated to bring in a staggering $2.5 million – $3 million. But hey, legendary all-American (and rare) muscle is worth every penny, isn’t it.
