Valvetronic Exhaust For Ford F-150 SVT Raptor

A tuner we didn’t think would deliver a custom exhaust system for the ex-generation Ford S-150 SVT Raptor is APEC, simply because they are over seas from China, but this is exactly what the aftermarket tuner has recently released.

We’re talking about a smart exhaust system here, as this is fitted with valves that allow the driver to control the exhaust sound. There are two available settings, with the driver being offered a remote control that allows him to choose between the two.

While you can see the photos in the gallery below, we feel it’s necessary to throw a little bit of doubt. For one thing, the images showing the car wearing the tuner’s logo on its number plate are clearly a Photoshop edit.

Then there’s the photo showing the remote control and you can see the bad quality of the plastic used for the switch, as well as for the remote control altogether.

Given the heavy tax on the Chinese market and the already-niche character of the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, the chances for the tuner to receive orders for this product seem to be pretty slim.

Then again, it’s not like China’s super-rich refrain from cruising over the land of their home country in terrifyingly expensive cars, so we’ll probably label this project under “You Never Know”.
