Undisguised 2016 Lexus LX spied
A none camouflage 2016 Lexus LX 570 which has been facelifted from last year has been spied up close both from the interior and exterior without any sort of disguise.
Starting with the front face section, the revised Lexus LX gets a huge spindle grille like the other current models and a significantly more angrier front bumper with new fog lights and redesigned headlights which now extend a bit to the back of the SUV.
There’s also a new design set of wheels and changed mirrors while the side skirts have also gone through a little revisions.
In addition, the third side passenger windows now have a modified design while the rear end house a brand new taillights design with chrome accents, along with a new rear bumper and a different roof installed spoiler.
Stepping inside the interior section, the changes are more noticeable as the dashboard has been thoroughly redesigned and now comes with a much bigger touchscreen display, an older design analog clock can also be seen in the photo, three-spoke steering wheel, updated instrument cluster and redesigned air vents.
This particular SUV appears to be a top of the line version with an optional rear-seat entertainment system packing dual tablet-like displays on the back of the seats.
It’s not confirmed at this point whether the V8 5.7-liter engine has been revised but we can tell you the current version is rated at 383 horsepower and 403 lb-ft of torque connected to the wheels through a 6-speed automatic transmission working together with an all-wheel-drive system and a Torsen limited-slip differential system.
As far as technology, it should get autonomous braking system which will feature a radar and high-resolution camera to scan the road approaching ahead. When a certain collision is detected, the brakes are automatically engaged and this system also works to lower the risks of accidents which could involve pedestrians.
An official unveiling of the 2016 Lexus LX facelift should happen in the a few days .
