Trofeo Fiat Abarth Race Car Nasty Crash – Video
Normally when we talk race track accidents the focus is on F1, NASCAR, GT racing or amateur hour at the Nurburgring due to their high speeds.
We often overlook that if it has four wheels and a motor it can and will be raced, which also means it can and will have an accident eventually.
Take this incident for example: This accident by Eric Scalvini at Spa-Francorchamps. Scalvini was attempting to pass his Fiat 500 Abarth from fourth to third position when he went too deep and ended up sliding roof first around the track.
Luckily Eric Scalvini wasn’t injured and as an added bonus his car actually ended up flipping back right side up! Good driving points go to Alex Campani for managing to avoid Scalvini’s crashed Fiat 500.
