SsangYong LIV-2 Large Premium SUV Unveiling – Video

 

As a large premium SUV, the LIV-2 concept (Limitless Interface Vehicle) previews another key strategic SsangYong model set to be introduced sometime next year.

 

 

The LIV-2 also represents the next iteration from the LIV-1 concept which SsangYong previously showcased during the 2013 Seoul Motor Show. Its design goal is to pursue the emotional interface between the driver, passengers and car while also reproducing the Korean automaker’s design philosophy of “Nature-born 3Motion”.

Powering the LIV-2 is SsangYong’s own 181 PS 2.2-liter euro 6 diesel engine capable of delivering a peak torque figure of 420 Nm (309 lb-ft) between 1,500 and 2,500 rpm, working together with a 7-speed Mercedes-Benz automatic transmission offering a optimal performance and efficiency, according to the automaker. A newly developed 2.0-liter GDi turbocharged petrol engine is also available, producing 225 PS and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque.
