Hyundai will be showcasing these creations at its SEMA display in Center Hall (booth #24387) at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Nov. 3-6, 2015.
The lineup of Hyundai vehicles includes:

ARK Performance Solus Genesis Coupe
Leveraging its long-standing relationship with Hyundai, ARK Performance created the race-inspired Solus Genesis Coupe, which blends performance and luxury to take on the established performance completion. The vehicle’s design focused on creating a wider visual look to give a more powerful stance using ARK’s own “Solus” wide body kit, and the interior was given a complete makeover with a redesigned dashboard, race-bred steering wheel and gauges, with ample carbon fiber. Hyundai’s 3.8-liter “Lambda” V6 engine was stroked to 4.0-liters and boosted via a Rotrex supercharger to produce more than 500 horsepower.
Bisimoto Engineering Tucson
For its fourth consecutive Hyundai SEMA build, Bisimoto Engineering built the most-powerful Tucson crossover ever. To deliver a final output of 700+ horsepower, Bisimoto started with Hyundai’s 2.4-liter “Theta II” engine, mating strengthened internals with fast-burning flex-fuel, a high-boost turbocharger and an upgraded engine management system. The builder finished the exterior with a very clean “street fighter” look, riding on custom air-ride suspension, white five-star race-spec wheels and sticky, R-compound rubber.
Blood Type Racing Veloster Turbo R-Spec
The Blood Type Racing (BTR) Edition Veloster was created with an evil twist, designed to look as though it just switched over to the dark side. The sinister visuals began with a “Carbon Black” paint job accented with a red racing stripe, augmented with a carbon fiber wide-body kit to give a muscular, more aggressive stance, front-mounted aero canards, front splitter and a rear deck spoiler. Utilizing Hyundai’s 1.6-liter “Gamma” engine as a starting point, BTR added new cylinder sleeves, a high-boost turbocharger from Garrett, custom connecting rods and pistons, and a retuned OEM ECU to deliver more than 500 horsepower.
JP Edition Tucson
John Pangilinan continues to blur the lines between lifestyle and automotive with his 2016 Tucson Adventuremobile. The vehicle blends Hyundai’s new crossover platform with a passion for the great outdoors, perfect for the weekend getaway. The most obvious addition was a Treeline Tamarack roof-top tent, with ample room to sleep two campers. The exterior was beefed up with the addition of an Aries bull bar and side steps, Rigid Industries LED lights, a custom 1.5-in. suspension lift for extra ground clearance, and Toyo Open Country A/T II tires with RAYS Gram Lights 57DR wheels to provide the extra grip needed for the occasional off-road excursion.
Rockstar Performance Garage Tucson
For the tuner’s first official Hyundai build, Rockstar Performance Garage (RPG) injected serious off-road lifeblood into Hyundai’s popular Tucson crossover. Starting with the most important piece of any off-roader, the suspension, RPG added a fully-custom, adjustable shocks and struts system from King Shocks. Riding on massive, 32-in. MTZ P3 tires from Mickey Thompson, the vehicle now sits 6-in. over stock height. The vehicle received a power boost via a high-flow Magnaflow exhaust system, a new K&N intake and intercooler from Mishimoto.
TJIN Edition Genesis Coupe
Rounding out Hyundai’s SEMA lineup, TJIN Edition created an underground-racing inspired Genesis Coupe. To produce more than 500 horsepower, TJIN started with Hyundai’s 3.8-liter “Lambda” V6 engine, boosting the motor with a Vortech supercharger kit built by the power gurus from Bisimoto Engineering, then added a free-flowing exhaust system, Vortech front mount intercooler and blow-off valve. KW coilovers, a custom front lip, rear spoiler and trunk lid from Unique Fabrication give a more aggressive stance, and the exterior was finished in a custom Kylie Tjin Axalta green paint job.
