Similar to VW, BMW also caught cheating with nitric oxide level
Watch dogs on the heels of VW’s huge diesel screw up, BMW could also get into huge trouble as it seems they were also cheating on emissions tests.
AutoBild reports the BMW X3 xDrive 20d has failed during the first street test performed by the International Council on Clean Transportation, showing more than a shocking eleven times higher emissions of nitric oxide than allowed by the European Union.
The information is still not 100% validated by the BMW, but the shares of the company have already nose dived with more than 8% since Thursday morning.
