Shmee150 picking up his new McLaren 675LT – Video

“It’s finally time! I jump in the Ferrari FF to drive up to McLaren Manchester for handover of my new 675LT; a car that’s featured in videos all the way through from ordering and specification to the dynamic test in the factory, and more recently the detailing and paint preparation at Topaz Detailing.

What seems like an immensely long wait has finally come to an end as I’m able to reveal the unique MSO touches to my car, including the Cerulean Blue paintwork, Handling and Powertrain toggles in matching colour trim, the bespoke key, the satin black additional switches and bezels, carbon fibre air vents and blue stitching around the driver and passenger zones as well as matching embroidery of the 675LT logos on the headrests.

I would like to thank James at MSO, Nick at McLaren Manchester and all the Topaz team for the huge amounts of work that went into getting the car ready on time for its adventures that start today!

With plans set for the car to board a truck at McLaren Manchester for delivery to me a few days later in Sourthern Germany, it would have been wrong not to use the opportunity to take the car for a few quick miles on the local roads – of course with the running in process being of big importance it’s nothing crazy, but nonetheless it got my heart racing!”
