Sammy Hagar gets his white Ferrari LaFerrari

Former legendary rock ‘n roll singer Sammy “Red Rocker” Hagar is no stranger to owning fast Ferraris. Sammy Hagar has one of the greatest car collections of Ferraris on the planet and has owned the Ferrari vehicles since the 1970s. After a year-long patients, Mr. Hagar was finally able to get into a White 2015 Ferrari LaFerrari in Mill Valley, CA. Only 499 of these LaFerraris will be sold, which makes getting into Ferrari’s most powerful halo vehicle ever built a privilege for an ultra-exclusive list of customers.

Sammy Hagar’s collection of Ferraris includes a fully custom Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, 400i automatic coupe, rare Daytona, 456 2+2 and 512 BBi. His most recent purchase, the LaFerrari, required a trip to Maranello, Italy, for special custom fitting as the hypercar is built to individual spec for its owner. The LaFerrari set Sammy Hagar back by a bank breaking $1.4 million and despite owning a lots of Ferraris it still manages to get him excited. “Sitting in it intimdates me. This car scared me. When I started this car, you probably couldn’t see, but I got goose bumps on my arms.” Apparently, the trouble to get into a LaFerrari was so hard that Mr. Hagar plans to make a film about the entire experience.
