Rust Wrap – Will This be the new trend?

This is the best way to have the Rat-Rod look without all the bad stuff you might experience owning a rusted car.

In case you prefer this look, but you’re don’t want to damage your vehicle and ruin some salt and some beers in the process to get the sheet metal really rusted, you can simply wrap it in something that looks similar to an oxidized pile of metal.  What a great idea huh.
That’s exactly what do this British company from Clyde Wraps did with a Volkswagen T5, and needless to say, the thing looks amazing. It has the looks of a beater rat rod, but it’s actually a brand new, safe and comfortable shiny black van underneath.

Yes, some may say that a fake rust won’t give a vehicle any street credit, but look at it this way: When the fad will be over (And we are sure it will), there is a shiny, untouched, unscratched be a call underneath that  cover  waiting to be wrapped in the next big thing that comes along.
