Rare Mugello Red 1991 BMW E34 M5 with only 29K miles
This rare 1991 BMW M5 E34 looks fantastic throughout and is reported to have only 29k miles from new. The last of the straight six powered M division five series.
These vehicles are brilliant to drive even compared to today’s cars, though almost all have been tuned and modified, beaten and abuse. Though no verifying paperwork is mentioned, the seller does claim that the vehicle has been kept in a nice climate controlled environment and properly maintained. Listed for sale at Autosport Designs in Huntington Station, New York for $45k.
Though we’d prefer a less flashy color for our own, we won’t disagree that this Mugello Red doesn’t look great. Directional “throwing star” rims are our favorite for these vehicles, though available five-spokes with bolt-on “turbine” brake-cooling discs were very nice as well. Overall condition looks to be fantastic, and its clear that this vehicle has been very well taking care of from new.
Interior condition is just as excellent. M-tech fabric performance sports seats are perhaps more desirable, but these gray leather seats look very fresh and are quite comfortable also. Check out the center console and dash control center pictures showing all the original stock equipment, new looking ashtray and flawless felt glove box liner. A full took kit is also in the trunk.
The 3.6 S38 engine looks fully stock including those six amazing-sounding individual throttle bodies and intake trumpets. These race- derived motors have electric throttle response and really love to be revved while offering a involving mechanical feel that’s been largely ironed-out in the new modern BMW M5 I said I will talk when you’re going to burst’s in search of greater refinement.
$45k isn’t small amount of money, but we can’t remember the last time we saw a BMW E34 M5 with under 50 thousand miles. Bring this one to a BMWCCA meet and collect your trophies.
