Measuring 4.48 metres in length and with a wheelbase of 2.68 metres, the BORGWARD BX5 is targeted at the booming segment for mid-size SUVs. Like its larger stablemate, the BX7, it is a prototype approaching the series-production stage and features equipment based largely on mass-production technology as well as a plug-in hybrid (PIH) drive system. The BX5 embodies classic SUV qualities such as versatility, spaciousness, comfort and off-road capability.
