Odd looking Widebody BMW 140i with a V8 Engine – Video

 

BMW ‘140i GTR’ Widebody racing on the Nurburgring GP strecke. This car started its life as a 135i, but was then custom built to feature a 4.0 liter V8 from the E90/E92 M3. This engine produces around 420hp, but various mods, including, KN airfilters, straight piped exhaust and a tune allows it to run 450+ HP. The car was then also turned into a widebody.

Not only does this small hatchback have 450+HP, but because of the use of carbon fiber and plastics, the car only weighs around 1100kg’s (2425lbs) which means it is extremely quick!
