Nissan GTR50 By Italdesign – Video

Nissan’s remarkable history of motorsport in the U.S. and its exciting future were showcased at this year’s Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion.

Watch a video recapping the amazing weekend that featured more than 50 historic Nissan and Datsun machines competing at the event, including Datsun Roadsters, 510s and 240Zs.

The first-ever collaboration between Nissan and Italdesign, the GT-R50 prototype shown at Goodwood could become the blueprint for a limited run of hand-built production vehicles. The 720ps vehicle commemorates the 50th anniversaries of both the GT-R, in 2019, and Italdesign, in 2018.

 

 

 

We’ve got some good and bad news for Nissan GT-R fans. The good news is that stunning Nissan GT-R50 designed by Nissan and Italdesign won’t just be a fancy one-off concept. The companies are prepared to build 50 units of the sports car, provided it’s received well at its public debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The bad news of course is that there will only be 50 examples of this amazing car.
