New Light Up Front Emblem Feature for the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro
The outgoing Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 had something called the “Flow-Tie” emblem. It was nothing more than a hollowed out bow tie badge, but it allowed for additional airflow into that hand-assembled 7.0-liter V8. It was a really innovative, yet simple idea. And now Chevrolet has adopted the same basic idea for the all-new 2016 Camaro, only this time it’s called the “Glow-Tie.” As its name clearly suggests, its outer edges light up.
This was just demonstrated at a recent party that Camaro chief engineer, Al Oppenhieser, attended. He pulled up in a brand new ’16 Camaro which had the “Flow-Tie” feature. Yeah, this is a cool idea.
