Motor Trend – 2017 Ferrari California T Handling Speciale – Video
Jonny Lieberman travels to the Italian Riviera to sample the latest and greatest convertible GT from Ferrari: the California T Handling Speciale. Long thought of as the “soft” Ferrari, the California added a whole bunch of power when it gained its T. The 3.9L twin-turbo V-8 cranks out 552 horses and 557 lb-ft of torque, to be specific. That power is then routed to rear wheels by a rapid-fire, seven-speed, dual-clutch transmission. The Handling Speciale package retunes the magnetic dampers, stiffens the springs, and adds some drama to the exhaust note. But is it enough to make the California T into a sports car? Watch and find out!
