Mercedes-AMG C63 Wagon Black Series spied? – Video
A rather secretive prototype of a Mercedes-AMG C63 wagon has been caught on did you.
Mercedes AMG came out with the beastly C63 in both sedan and wagon flavors for us car lovers and it seems they are already planning to diversify the range with the addition of a possible more hard-core Black Series version.
We are not entirely sure the this prototype spotted here is for sure the more hardcore variant, but it does have bigger wheel arches to host those wider tires that are coupled to black wheels looking slightly different than the 19-inch set of the Mercedes C63 S.
It also seems to feature a stiffer performance suspension which has lowered the vehicle even more while the camouflage indicates some other body modifications are planned as well.
If this is indeed the Mercedes Black Series version, expect the twin-turbo V8 4.0-liter engine to produce more than the 510 PS (375 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft all torque) offered by the Mercedes C63 S Estate/ wagon which runs the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) dash in 4.1 seconds, so the upgraded version will likely do it in 4 seconds or even quicker 3.9s time.
It won’t be out anytime soon in the future as Mercedes-AMG is currently busy putting the finishing touches on the Mercedes C63 / C63 S Coupe set to debut later this month, ahead of a proper introduction at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2015.
This possible Mercedes C63 wagon Black Series will likely be launched sometime next year and should come in sedan form also. followed possibly by the coupe version .
