Mayweather’s new ride
Just about a week ago we heard the incredibly tragic news of the transport trailer fire that wiped out four of Floyd Mayweather’s awesome cars somewhere in the Arizona desert. The trailer that was transporting the boxer’s cars was on its way from Las Vegas to Miami when it was mysteriously engulfed in flames. $1.2 million worth of cars were destroyed in the blaze including two Rolls-Royces, a Bentley and a specially customized Jeep. Thankfully, Mayweather’s $4.8 million Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita was safe at home when the disaster struck.
Although it was never made clear exactly what sparked the blaze, Mayweather has wasted no time replacing some of the destroyed vehicles. In fact he has already replaced the burned Jeep with a brand new “Avorza Jeep” that features custom Crocodile leather seats, a specially designed entertainment system, touch screen navigation and The Money Team monogram emblazoned throughout the vehicle. The total cost of the replacement Jeep is reportedly $120,000, which is $20,000 more expensive than the one destroyed in the fire. The custom mods were tailored by Alex Vega and crew at The Auto Firm in Miami.
