Land Rover Transparent Trailer and Cargo Sense Technology – Video

Researchers at Land Rover are building an innovative new transparent trailer and cargo technology which eliminates the dangerous blind spot when towing a trailer, caravan or horsebox.

Adding the reversing cameras on the side wing mirrors and rear of a Range Rover SUV and an additional wireless video camera mounted on the trailer a video feed makes the towing trailer see-through.

Included in this is Cargo Sense technology, which lets the driver know, while on the road or remotely, about would be hazards with their towed cargo. This innovative new technology is being filmed at Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials in the UK.
