Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster Photos Leaked

The topless version of the most extreme production Lamborghini ever made benefits from the same engine, meaning it has 750PS (740hp) from the glorious sounding naturally-aspirated V12 engine.

The Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster ways in out 1,575 kg (3,472 lbs), meaning it has exactly the same weight as the hardtop Lamborghini Aventador coupe but it is 50 kg (110 lbs) more than the Aventador SV coupe.

The extra bulk is obviously due to the reinforcements engineers made to the Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster in order to make it stiff enough to avoid chassis flex. Chances are you won’t feel those extra 50 kilograms anyway, as the Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster sprints from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in a blistering 2.9 seconds – just 0.1 seconds slower than the Lamborghini Aventador SV. Top speed is 349 km/h (217 mph), the same as the lighter SV coupe – although it would be probably wise to fit the 6 kg (13.2 lbs) carbon fiber roof before attempting to hit that kind of top speed.

Despite the fact that the Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster will cost about half a million euros, Lamborghini is not worried about finding 500 customers for it. After all, the entire production run of 600 units for the Lamborghini  Aventador SV coupe has already been sold out.
