The Koenigsegg Regera matches the Bugatti Chiron for pure spec-sheet extremes. It has an incredible 1479bhp and 1475lb ft of torque.

But it’s the car’s unique direct-drive system which really makes the Regera special. That and its ability to do 0-249mph in just 20 seconds.

Koenigsegg gave EVO some added time with the Regera at the 2016 Motor Show so evo’s Henry Catchpole could take you through the car in-depth.

Just 80 Regeras will be produced, each one commanding a starting price of $1,890,000 before any taxes or fees.
