Jenson Button Could Become Top Gear Host
Rumor has it that Jenson Button is going to retire from Formula 1 racing are increasing, as the racing driver is allegedly considered as a possible co-host for the re created Top Gear.
According to the British news Daily Mail, reports suggest that Chris Evans, the fella who replaced Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear, is a good friend of Jenson and that “an announcement is imminent” regarding whether or not the former Formula 1 champion will join the team.
Truth be told, Jenson Button is a natural in front of the camera, appearing on Top Gear multiple times and even on Chris Evans radio show a few times. Being a fresh addition to the car show could make him great for Top Gear’s future line-up. In fact, we think, it’s better for the BBC to tryout a more… up-to-date, modern, younger cast.
Jenson Button, who reportedly admitted that he would retire happy if he didn’t stand on podium at Silverstone, is believed to leave the F1 at the end of this season, as McLaren Honda might not guarantee him as a driver in 2016.
