First US Spec Porsche 991 GT3 RS Photoshoot
This is the very first Porsche Porsche 991 GT3 RS built in U.S. specification and has arrived at IMOLA Motorsports in Plymouth, Minnesota.
For this special occasion, professional photographer Alex Bellus had the opportunity to take some nice photos with Porsche’s latest naturally aspirated beast which in United States kicks off at a rather pricey $175,900.
Together with the little brother $130,400 Porsche GT3, these two will soon remain the only NA models from the Porsche 991 lineup as the rest of the versions will embrace turbocharging once the Porsche 991.2 model will be out this fall.
The US-spec Porsche 991 GT3 RS is rated at 500 bhp and 338 lb-ft of torque coming from a potent flat-six 4.0-liter sending power to the wheels exclusively through a 7-speed PDK, enabling a 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 3.1 seconds and a 193 mph (310 km/h) top speed.
This is a pearl white example GT3 featuring yellow brake calipers and a black look for the aero bits and pieces while the 20-inch front & 21-inch rear wheels adopt a silver finish and are wrapped around in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.
As a reminder, Porsche has already achieved a 7:20 time with the Porsche 991 GT3 RS on the famed Nordschleife.
